A forthcoming Soulsavers project with Dave Gahan on lead vox is currently being mixed/mastered in London. No exact release date confirmed so far. Also, looks like the producer for the new Depeche Mode album is Ben Hillier (no official confirmation, though). Recording should start in March, and the album will be released in early 2013

DM cover U2′s “So Cruel” for Q Mag
U2′s Bono announced a forthcoming ‘Achtung Baby’ Covers Album that features Depeche Mode doing the cover of the track “So Cruel”. The covers album is a project that was was commissioned by the British music magazine Q and it’s to honor the 20th anniversary of Achtung Baby. Bono also revealed that Jack White, Patti Smith and Damian Rice are just some of the names also involved in the project.

Tickets available for the MusiCares event
The seventh annual MusiCares MAP Fund benefit concert will honor Depeche Mode lead singer Dave Gahan and Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on May 6.
Hosted by comedian Greg Behrendt, the evening will feature a special performance by Gahan with drummer Victor Indrizzo, producer/musician Vincent Jones and bassist Martyn LeNoble.
Steven Tyler will present the award to Dave.
